Confirmed Open
What it means: a direct HireMN employer recently confirmed that a specific published job is still actively hiring. The confirmation is time-limited and becomes stale if the employer does not reconfirm it.
What it does not mean: HireMN does not guarantee that the employer will interview or hire anyone, that headcount cannot change, or that every detail in the listing is independently verified.
Verified Employer
What it means: HireMN has reviewed employer identity or legitimacy information and marked the employer as verified. This status cannot be purchased through normal job-posting activity.
What it does not mean: verification is not an endorsement and does not guarantee employer quality, management practices, workplace safety, compensation, legal compliance, or a positive candidate experience.
Responsive Employer
What it means: after enough eligible HireMN application history exists, an employer can earn this signal by meeting HireMN's current response-rate and response-time criteria. Opening an application alone does not count as a meaningful response.
What it does not mean: the employer is not required to interview or hire every applicant, and future responsiveness can differ from past behavior.
External Employer Career Site Jobs
These listings send candidates to an employer-controlled career site. HireMN labels them so the handoff is clear. HireMN may display source information and basic job details, but the employer's external website controls the application, privacy practices, and downstream hiring process.
External jobs do not receive direct-HireMN application tracking, candidate messaging, or Confirmed Open status unless the employer separately posts and manages the role directly through HireMN.
Reporting a Job
Report a listing when you believe it may be a scam, expired, duplicate, materially misleading, inappropriate, or otherwise inconsistent with HireMN Job Posting Standards. Include the job link and specific details whenever possible.
HireMN reviews reports as moderation signals. A report does not automatically prove wrongdoing, and HireMN may need additional context before taking action.
No hiring guarantees
HireMN does not guarantee employment, salary, employer quality, workplace safety, interview availability, employer response, or hiring outcomes. Candidates should evaluate opportunities independently, and employers remain responsible for their own listings and hiring practices.
