Required qualities of a good listing
- A clear job title that reflects the actual role.
- A Minnesota location, or a clearly described remote/hybrid arrangement tied to Minnesota hiring.
- A legitimate employer or clearly identified employer career-site source.
- An understandable description of responsibilities and qualifications.
- Compensation information that is accurate when provided and does not disguise commission, draw, OTE, or other variable structures.
- A current hiring status that is updated when the role changes.
Listings HireMN may reject or remove
- Fake, fraudulent, misleading, duplicate, or materially inaccurate jobs.
- Roles presented as open when the poster knows they are filled or closed.
- Listings that appear to violate law or promote unlawful discrimination.
- Opportunities that are primarily scams, pay-to-work schemes, unrelated solicitations, or attempts to collect information without a legitimate hiring purpose.
- Listings with intentionally deceptive compensation or work-location information.
Direct HireMN jobs
A job posted directly by an employer through HireMN can receive platform hiring signals such as Confirmed Open when the employer has recently confirmed that specific role is actively hiring.
External employer career-site jobs
Some jobs may link to an employer's own careers website. HireMN labels these as external applications. HireMN does not control the external application process and cannot provide HireMN application-status tracking after a candidate leaves the platform.
