Real jobs, with clear freshness signals
HireMN continually checks indexed jobs against employer-controlled sources. When current source evidence supports it, we show that a job was recently observed on the employer career site. Direct employers can separately confirm that a HireMN posting is actively hiring.
A failed source check is never treated as proof that a job closed. If freshness cannot be supported, HireMN uses neutral language instead of inventing certainty.
Clear information
Employer-provided or source-provided compensation is shown when HireMN can safely identify it. If reliable pay information is unavailable, we say that pay is not listed rather than estimating it.
How this job fits you
HireMN compares factual job information with preferences and credentials you chose to put in your profile. It explains the reasons behind a result instead of using a mysterious percentage score.
This is decision support, not an application gate. Candidates can still browse the full Minnesota marketplace and make their own decision.
Application transparency
Applications submitted directly on HireMN can show meaningful employer activity and hiring-stage changes recorded inside HireMN. Applications completed on an employer career site can be tracked by the candidate, but HireMN does not pretend to know external employer activity it cannot see.
Candidate control and privacy
Employer discovery is optional. Turning it on makes a limited professional profile discoverable to eligible HireMN employers; private contact information, résumé files, application history, and private job-preference dealbreakers are not exposed through talent search.
You can turn employer discovery off from your profile.
No pay-to-win matching
Employers may purchase clearly labeled promotional visibility. Paid placement does not improve how a job fits your preferences, create a trust signal, make a job look fresher, or qualify an employer for the Responsive Employer signal.
Know our limits
HireMN does not guarantee interviews, employment, employer response, compensation, or workplace quality. Trust signals summarize specific evidence, not endorsements. See Trust & Safety for more detail or report a concern.
